Pre Bankruptcy Filing Class

Welcome to Community Credit Counseling Services pre bankruptcy filing class online.

This service is only available to residents of the State of Colorado. If you are not a resident of the State of Colorado or filing in the Colorado District Court then we can not provide you with services.

This class is mandated by the Federal Bankruptcy Court as of October 2005. This class is required for individuals or couples who want to petition the bankruptcy court to file for a chapter 7 or a chapter 13 bankruptcy.

The purpose of this class is to have an unbiased certified professional take a look at your financial situation and review any alternative to bankruptcy that may be available to you.

Community Credit Counseling Services does not decide if you are able to file for bankruptcy protections. We will provide services that will ensure you have met the requirements of the federal courts in regards to the pre bankruptcy filing mandates

A certificate will be issued upon completion of this course and sent to your attorney or if you do not have an attorney it will be sent directly to you.

This certificate is valid for 180 days and must be submitted to the court with your bankruptcy petition. Community Credit Counseling Services does not and is not responsible for filing your certificate with the courts.
